Armagh man extradited from Australia in double murder investigation

The 30-year-old is to appear in court in Newry today.

A 30-year-old Armagh man wanted in relation to a double murder has been extradited to Northern Ireland from Australia.

The man, who is set to appear in court in Newry today, will face three charges – two of murder and one of arson with intent.

The charges relate to the murder of Thomas O’Hare and Lisa McClatchey following an incident at their home at Tassagh, Co Armagh, on 6 November, 2006.
