Woman arrested over Brigid Bernadette Cash death released without charge

The woman was arrested last Thursday in connection with the discovery of the 20-year-old mother-of-one’s body at a house near Blanchardstown in west Dublin.

A WOMAN WHO was arrested by gardaí investigating the suspected murder of Brigid Bernadette Cash this week has been released without charge.

The woman was arrested last Thursday in connection with the discovery of the 20-year-old mother-of-one’s body at a house near Blanchardstown in west Dublin.

Cash’s body was found just before 11am on Thursday morning when gardaí were called to the house on Warrenstown Walk after being alerted by members of Dublin Fire Brigade.

The woman in her 20s was arrested later that day and held for questioning at Blanchardstown Garda station.

She has now been released without charge. Gardaí are continuing their investigation.
