Man arrested following Crumlin house search

A firearm and a quantity of cannabis herb was found during the search of a house in South Dublin.

A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following the search of a house in Crumlin, Dublin, yesterday evening.

Gardaí said a firearm and a quantity of cannabis herb was recovered during the search of the house.

The man is being detained under Section 30 of Offences Against the State Act 1939  in Sundrive Road Garda station where he can be held for up to 72 hours.
