Two people rescued from River Liffey

One was taken to hospital, but the other refused to go.

TWO PEOPLE WERE rescued from the River Liffey last night.

Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) confirmed it received a call about the incident at around 8pm.

Four DFB units attended the scene and two people were pulled from the water near the boardwalk at the Ha’penny Bridge.

A DFB spokesperson told TheJournal.ie one of the people was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment, but the other person refused to go.
