A MAN HAS been arrested at Heathrow Airport in connection with the investigation into the attack at Manchester Arena on 22 May in which 22 people were killed.
The 38-year-old was arrested last night on suspicion of offences contrary to the Terrorism Act and remains in custody.
Greater Manchester Police said the arrest was planned beforehand and there was no direct threat to the airport.
To date 19 people in total have been arrested in connection with the investigation, 12 of whom have since been released without charge.
Seven men remain in custody for questioning. Yesterday police released images of the car believed to have been used by the bomber, Salman Abedi, to store bomb-making components.
As well as the fatalities, dozens more were injured in the attack which targeted an Ariana Grande concert.
A benefit concert on Sunday featuring Grande and several other performers raised millions for those affected by the attack.
