A 28-YEAR-old man is in a serious condition in University Hospital Limerick after he was involved in road crash overnight.
A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that the incident happened at around 1.45am at Ballysimon on the main Limerick to Tipperary road.
There was no one else in the man’s car, which is believed to have hit a ditch.
The road was closed for a time for gardaí to carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí appealing for witnesses to contact them.
