LOOKING TO MAKE the most of your October Bank Holiday weekend? Why not kick start the long weekend by going for a brunch like no other thanks to Roberta’s and Absolut.
Roberta’s has teamed up with Absolut Vodka to launch a monthly brunch club in the heart of Dublin. The duo is set to host wild, fun, and interactive brunches every last Saturday of the month. Think everything from Drag Queens to dress-up, Beyonce brunches to karaoke, all of which will make Brunch Club the event you do not want to miss!
The Absolut Brunch Club is launching this Saturday, October 29th at 12.30pm in Roberta’s. Providing the wicked entertainment to go with fantastic food and drinks is the amazingly talented Drag Haus, Haus Of W.I.G.
According to Roberta’s GM Ciaran, tickets for the event are flying out the door. If you haven’t bought a ticket yet, don’t fret! Tickets are available here.
Roberta’s is the perfect spot for some spooky festivities: “The venue lends itself very well for events like this, it’s a big beautiful city-centre space. It’s a first-floor restaurant, kind of an atrium bar-restaurant, with a big capacity. Overall it’s a really, really, cool New York kind of place,” said Ciaran.
Haus of W.I.G., Dublin’s newest and naughtiest Drag Haus, will join the team at Roberta’s to kick start the inaugural brunch.
Seeing as it is Halloween, be sure to don your spookiest outfit! Come prepared for a spooktacular afternoon of drag performances, games, challenges, prizes, delicious drinks made with the finest Absolut Vodka, and plenty of audience participation. Spot prizes will be given out during the event for the best costumes.
“It’s €35 for a ticket and with that, you get one of the brunch dishes we have and your choice of three different cocktails. It’s a decent deal and it’s nice to be able to offer people a little bit of a bargain,” said Ciaran.
Roberta’s will be serving a slightly tweaked menu to ensure rapid service for the attendees.
Absolut will be stealing some of the spotlight back from the performers by featuring in several mouth-watering cocktails available alongside the food.
Commenting on the drinks available from Absolut Vodka, Ciaran said “Pornstar Martinis have taken off, I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life! It’s like every second person seems to drink them now, so obviously, that’s going to have to be a staple.
“You’ve also got your more ‘brunchy’ cocktails, so we’re going to do a Bloody Mary, an Espresso Martini, stuff like that. There’ll also be some surprises as well that the bar team will come up with.”
Tickets for the Absolut Brunch Club are priced at €35 per person and include one brunch dish from the menu and three Absolut cocktails (non-alcoholic versions also available on request), available to book here.
