Eight-year-old girl hurt after joyriding teens steal car and crash it

The car was stolen yesterday evening in the Falls Road area of Belfast.

AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl was among several people injured after a car was stolen in a Belfast creeper burglary last night and driven recklessly around the area.

The silver Vauxhall Zafira car was stolen from a home on Servia Street in the Falls Road Area while the occupants of the home were inside.

The car then collided with three other vehicles on nearby Broadway at about 8pm. Immediately after the collision, three teenage males were seen running from the car.

Several people, including an eight-year-old girl, were taken to hospital for treatment following the collisions with the PSNI saying that none of the injuries are thought to be serious.

Anyone who saw the individuals fleeing the scene are being asked to contact police.
