GARDAÍ IN ARKLOW have recovered a body from the Avoca River this evening.
The body has not been identified and was found during a search for missing person James Sheehan.
Gardaí say they would like to thank Boyne Fishermen River Rescue, who located the body, as well as the Garda Water Unit, Civil Defence and the local community for their assistance.
James Sheehan was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning and searches for the 18-year-old have been ongoing since.
