Cannabis worth €750k seized after Gardaí stop van on Dublin quays

One man was arrested at the scene and is being held at the Bridewell Garda station.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED cannabis worth an estimated €750,000 after stopping a vehicle on Dublin’s quays.

The drugs were discovered when the van was searched on Victoria Quay, close to Heuston Station, this morning.

A man in his late 30s was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at the Bridewell Garda station, where he can be held for up to 7 days.

Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing.
