Cannabis herb worth €140k found in car
There have been no arrests as of yet and investigations are continuing.
GARDAÍ SEIZED €140k worth of drugs when they searched a car in Dublin yesterday.
Gardaí from the Crime Resource Unit attached to Mountjoy Garda Station searched a car at Belvedere Ave, Dublin 1 at approximately 5pm yesterday evening.
The search was as part of an intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs.
During the course of the search, they seized 7 kilos of cannabis herb (subject to analysis), which had an estimated street value of €140,000.
The car was seized and is currently being technically examined.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
