TWO PEOPLE HAVE died in a car crash near Newry in Northern Ireland.
The incident occurred yesterday at around 5.25pm on the old main Belfast to Dublin Road.
A 67-year-old woman and 19-year-old man died in the two-car collision.
It is believed the man, the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta, died at the scene, while the woman, a passenger in a brown Nissan Qashqai, was rushed to hospital but later died.
The road has since reopened to traffic.
Investigating officers are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the PSNI.
