Chicken-tastic: Nandos announces 60 new jobs in Dublin

The chicken restaurant is to open a flagship store in the city centre.

NANDOS IS TO open a new restaurant in Dublin’s city centre, creating 60 new jobs in the process, the company has announced.

The restaurant, famous for its Peri Peri spiced chicken, will open its new store on St Andrew’s Street on 9 November creating 60 new jobs in a 3,800 square foot space spread over two floors.

The restaurant will be able to seat over 140 customers and will be the chain’s flagship store in the country. Its opening was first announced earlier this year.

Originally set up in a small suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa in 1987, Nandos has since grown to have over 850 restaurants in 34 countries worldwide.

It first arrived in Ireland in 2008 and operates six restaurants in Ireland, three in Dublin, one in Cork and two in Belfast.
