Two arrested over €120k cocaine seizure in Carlow

The two were arrested after planned raids on houses in Pollerton and Carlow Town.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED two people after seizing cocaine worth an estimated €120,000 in the south-east last night.

The two – a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s – were arrested after planned searches on houses in Pollerton and Carlow Town.

The searches revealed cocaine with a street value of €120,000 pending analysis.

Both of the arrested parties are being detained at Carlow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
