Colin Howell to receive minimum sentence on Friday

THE MAN CONVICTED OF THE DOUBLE murder of his wife and his former lover’s husband will find out his minimum prison term on Friday. Colin Howell, 51, has already been sentenced to two life sentences, but a Belfast court will decide the minimum length of his term on Friday, according to RTÉ. His co-accused Hazel Stewart will be tried for the murders later. Her trial was adjourned last week.
