As part of our growing commercial team, we are offering opportunities in generating, pitching and producing unique copy ideas for our ad clients.

As part of the role, you will be expected to:

• Work as part of a commercial and editorial team dedicated to bringing the best user experience to audiences.
• Liaise with brands to understand their needs and how we can meet them.
• Generate creative, unique angles and pitches for advertising campaigns.
• Produce clean, smart, sharp copy that reflects the tone of TheJournal.ie’s publications.
• Explore innovation in online copywriting and digital ad solutions.

Requirements:

• Fantastic writing skills, with the capability to produce persuasive, original copy in a variety of styles.
• Impeccable grammar and spelling skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Keen insights into online consumer behaviour.
• Interest in popular culture, trends, topical issues.
• Passion and knowledge for all things sports-related an advantage.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
• Experience in writing commercial copy, preferably with online experience.
• A graduate qualification in copywriting or related degree.
