Man (30) stabbed multiple times in Cork city

The incident took place at Ardmore avenue, Knocknaheeny in the city.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after a man was stabbed several times in Cork city last night. 

The incident took place at Ardmore Avenue, Knocknaheeny in the city. 

At about 10.50pm a man aged in his 30s was stabbed multiple times.

He was taken to Cork University Hospital following the incident. 

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and investigations are ongoing. 

No arrests have been made.
