DoneDeal of the Week: This Skoda Rapid is a good value family saloon

LOOKING FOR A well priced, practical and economical saloon with room for the whole family? Then this 2017 Skoda Rapid for €21,950 may be the car for you.

The Rapid is a car that does almost everything well and offers a comfortable and easy drive. The cabin is roomy and practical with a simple and clean layout and the boot can hold a massive 550 litres with the seats up and 1,490 litres with the seats folded.

This particular model comes in Ambition trim and is well specced with loads of safety and convenience features including front electric windows, electric heated mirrors, air conditioning, rear parking sensors, front fog lights, remote boot release, cruise control, ABS and traction control.

The official combined fuel economy figure is 5.7 litres/100km and it falls into tax band B2, which means it is €280 a year to tax.
