TWO PEOPLE HAVE died in a road crash at a black spot in Donegal this afternoon.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, have been pronounced dead at the scene. A third man has been taken to hospital in Derry by ambulance.
Gardaí are investigating the collision between two cars which occurred just outside Newtowncunningham on the N13 Letterkenny to Derry road at about 2.30pm.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, the road is closed and diversions are in place. Garda forensic collision investigators are expected to examine the site, while the local coroner has also been notified.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
