Man in court over Roscommon shed drugs haul
Gardaí found €300,000 worth of cannabis plants when they searched the shed on Tuesday.
A MAN HAS appeared before a court this morning charged in connection with a major seizure of cannabis plants from a shed in Roscommon.
Gardaí found an estimated €300,000 worth of cannabis plants when they searched the shed in Athleague on Tuesday afternoon.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested at the scene. He appeared before Loughrea District Court this morning.
Gardaí from the Roscommon Divisional Drug Unit and a local detective unit seized 380 plants as part of the planned search of the shed.
