Gardaí have seized €3.4m worth of Benzodiazepine tablets in Dublin
A garda spokesperson said that the searches were conducted by members attached to Tallaght District Drugs Unit.
GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED €3.4m worth of Benzodiazepine tablets in searches of businesses in Dublin.
A garda statement said that the seizure is part of an ongoing operation and happened on Wednesday.

There were no arrests made and the seized drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Figures released by the Department of Health earlier this year show the number of drugs seized rose from just 1,160 in 2006 to 1.3 million last year. The majority of the seizures were of sedatives including valium and xanax, used for the treatment of anxiety.
