It's going to be difficult to get a picture with Ed Sheeran this weekend

Selfie sticks have been banned from his two Croke Park concerts.

THE ORGANISERS OF this weekend’s Ed Sheeran gigs have warned anyone looking for a last-minute ticket to be careful of where they’re getting it from.

Aiken Promotions said that as the two Croke Park concerts are sold out, bogus tickets are likely to be in circulation.

Anyone looking to get their hands on a ticket is being advised to double-check its authenticity.

And for those lucky (or unlucky, depending on your opinion of the singer-songwriter) enough to already have a ticket, they’re being advised to leave the selfie-sticks at home.

Like with many concerts this year, the devices have been added to the list of banned items along with fireworks, spikes, weapons, and garden furniture.

The usual warnings on getting to and from the concert apply with as many as 80,000 attending the gigs each night.

Late services on Maynooth and Dundalk rail lines as well as the Dart will operate after the concert.

Special train services will operate from Heuston Station to Limerick, Cork, and Galway.

There’s also going to be a colour-coded ticket system in place, so take a quick look at this map beforehand so you’re heading in the right direction.
