Eircom revenues dip by 8.5% amid industry ‘challenges’

EIRCOM has reported an 8.5% fall in revenue for the year to June 31, with operating costs rising by 11.2% and net cash flow falling by 25.3%. The company laid off 582 full-time staff in the year but group CEO Paul Donovan said the results highlighted “the challenges that remain to return eircom group to profitable growth.”
