• The government agreed to ban e-scooters for under-18s from next month, delaying a decision on an outright ban for now.
• Responding to the news, the Dublin Commuter Coalition said that upping the age limit on the e-scooter ban from 16 to 18 will push more people into cars and result in more congestion.
