FMI announces the creation of 100 jobs

Field Management Ireland is to create 100 new jobs after being awarded a major field sales contract by Electric Ireland.

ONE HUNDRED NEW jobs have been announced with Field Management Ireland (FMI) following the company being awarded a major field sales contract by energy company Electric Ireland (formerly ESB Electric Ireland).

FMI says it is seeking field sales representatives who will be responsible for directly selling electricity and gas supplies to residential consumers – as well as selling boiler maintenance, attic and cavity wall insulation, and boiler replacement.

Commenting on the announcement, Charley Stoney, Managing Director of FMI Ireland, said that the company was “thrilled” to have been awarded the contract: “We have spent many years perfecting the training, development and deployment of our direct sales teams,” she said.

“As a result, we have at our disposal over a thousand highly trained sales staff available countrywide, who can deal with a variety of customers including the residential market,” she added.

Electric Ireland says it expects to increase its market share amongst residential gas customers as a result of the new partnership contract.
