GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of 19-year-old David Byrne in Dublin at the weekend have made three further arrests, bring the total number of people arrested and in custody to seven.
Two male and one female have been arrested – all of whom are teenagers.
David Byrne was fatally stabbed after being chased from the Davitt House complex in Dublin to a car park at an Inchicore apartment block.
The latest people to be arrested are in custody in different Dublin city stations: two are being detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and one is being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
