GARDAÍ HAVE CARRIED out searches at 12 locations today in Dublin, Kildare, and Meath as part of a crackdown on a west Dublin criminal gang.

During the operation, the Criminal Assets Bureau seized large amounts of financial documentation, electronic media, a luxury car and a small quantity of controlled drugs and drugs paraphernalia.

The searches were conducted at homes and business premises. No arrests were made during the operation today.

Gardaí said the investigation is continuing.
