Two held by gardaí after heroin seizure in south Dublin flat

An estimated €150,000 worth of the drug was found after a search in Rathmines.

TWO ARRESTS HAVE been made following the seizure of heroin in south Dublin city.

Gardaí say that the heroin has an estimated street value of €150,000 and was discovered following a search of a flat in the Rathmines area.

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested as part of the operation which took place this afternoon.

The two are currently being held at Terenure Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act for which they can be held for up to seven days.
