Teenager charged over crash that killed Limerick nurse Áine O'Reilly
The three-car collision occurred on 13 February.
GARDAÍ HAVE CHARGED a teenager in connection with an investigation into a hit-and-run in which a nurse was killed in Co Limerick last month.
The 19-year-old was arrested by Gardaí in the Castleconnell area of Limerick yesterday morning.
He was charged today, and is due to appear before Limerick District Court later this morning.
He is being questioned by Gardaí investigating a hit-and-run collision on Friday, 13 February in which 33-year-old Áine O’Reilly died.
O’Reilly, a qualified nurse from Pallasgreen, had been driving to work at the out of hours GP service Shannondoc when her car was struck by another car.
A man who was driving a third car that was caught up in the collision was treated for minor injuries.
