Tech layoffs
2. Amazon Web Services is moving ahead with 350 redundancies to its Irish workforce, after a global restructuring plan to cut 16,000 roles was announced last month.

3. The Government is set to reduce the remission period for cancer survivors seeking mortgage protection from seven years to five years.
Limerick
4. Gardaí have charged a teenager in connection with an investigation into a hit-and-run in which 33-year-old Áine O’Reilly was killed in Co Limerick last month.
