Gardaí investigate two separate Dublin incidents as teen attacked at bus stop and man stabbed

A 16-year-old boy is in a critical condition after he was attacked in Drumcondra in north Dublin whilst a man in his 20s was stabbed in west Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy is in a critical condition after he was attacked a bus stop in north Dublin last night.

Shortly after 10pm the teen was attacked at a bus stop on the Lower Drumcondra Road and left with head injuries.

He is described as being in a critical condition  and is being treated at the Mater Hospital in Dublin.

Separately a man in his 20s was injured in a stabbing incident in Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin in west Dublin at around 6am this morning.

It is thought he is being treated for his injuries at Tallaght hospital.

Gardaí say that both incidents are under investigation.
