A FATHER OF three who was stabbed to death in Dublin last night after a row broke out at his home has been named locally as Mark Richardson.
The incident happened at about 7.40pm on the Harmonstown Road in north Dublin. He suffered a number of stab wounds and was removed to nearby Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 40s, who had been socialising with the deceased prior to the incident, has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and is being held at Clontarf Garda Station. He was also the person to call the emergency services after the incident.
The house has been sealed off and is being preserved for a technical examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
