A MAN IN his 60s has died after a house fire in Cork in the early hours of this morning.
The fire occurred at around 3am at a house on Noonan Road.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene. The man was removed from the house and brought to Cork University Hospital, where he later passed away.
A post mortem will take place in due course.
A garda spokesperson said the scene is currently preserved and investigations are ongoing into the fire at present.
