Here's how much a pint costs in the Dáil bar these days

Still cheaper than most other bars…

THE COST OF a pint has gone up 10 cent in the Dáil bar in the last year in line with the rise in excise duty on beer in last year’s Budget.

A copy of the Oireachtas Bars price list, obtained under Freedom of Information by TheJournal.ie, shows that prices for all alcohol sold in Leinster House have gone up in the last year in line with changes announced in Budget 2014.

Although as we revealed last year, it still costs significantly less to enjoy a tipple in the Leinster House bars than in hostelries in the surrounding area.
