IrishCentral announces new community newspaper division

The owner of IrishCentral, Niall O’Dowd, announced that the Home & Away and Irish Emigrant print newspapers have joined this new division.

AN ONLINE PUBLICATION aimed at Irish emigrants has announced the creation of its new community newspaper division.

Niall O’Dowd, the owner of IrishCentral, has said that the Home & Away and Irish Emigrant newspapers will merge under IrishCentral and continue to publish under their own names.

O’Dowd’s Home and Away publication is published in New York, while Connell Gallagher’s Irish Emigrant is published in Massachusetts.

O’Dowd said on IrishCentral.com that this is “a perfect alliance for both companies” and will help to “further introduce a whole new generation to their Irish roots and wonderful heritage”.

He plans for the two companies to join forces and expand their product outside of the northeast of the USA.
