THE LATE LATE Toy Show is gearing up to hit the road and host auditions for children who wish to appear on the Christmas staple.
Auditions will be held in Dublin, Cork, and Galway.
Patrick Kielty will host the show on Friday, 5 December, and the team behind the show are now appealing for children who can demonstrate toys on the show, perform, or be “proud county representatives”.
Kielty said last year’s County Parade was one of his highlights of the Toy Show.
“The pride in the jersey and the standard of performances meant there was only one thing we could do – and that’s bring it back, bigger and even better this year,” he said “I can’t wait to see what fever dream fun comes our way in December!”
Parents can apply on behalf of their children up until Wednesday 1 October.
The team added that children don’t need to be able to sing or dance to apply or to be on the show – the county parade will be back this year with 32 children, one from each county, where “county pride” is the only requirement.
