LAST UPDATE | 12 May
CHICKEN PRODUCTS SOLD in Aldi, Dunnes, Lidl, Centra, SuperValu and Tesco have been recalled due to the possible presence of salmonella.
Today two Lidl chicken breast fillet products were recalled due to the presence of salmonella, and Manor Farm and Western Brand have recalled some batches of their chicken products due to the possible presence of salmonella.
The recalled products are past their use-by dates and were due to expire on either the 12 or 13 April, but they are suitable for home freezing.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has advised consumers to check their freezers for the implicated products.
The affected products are listed in full on the FSAI site.

Consumers are being urged not to eat the affected products, the FSAI has said.
People infected with salmonella typically develop symptoms between 12 and 36 hours after infection, but this can range between six and 72 hours.
The most common symptom is diarrhoea, which can be bloody.
Other symptoms may include fever, headache and abdominal cramps, and the illness usually lasts from four to seven days.
