Support from readers like you keeps The Journal open.

You are visiting us because we have something you value. Independent, unbiased news that tells the truth. Advertising revenue goes some way to support our mission, but this year it has not been enough.

If you've seen value in our reporting, please contribute what you can, so we can continue to produce accurate and meaningful journalism. For everyone who needs it.

Rush Hour

If you're travelling home on the Luas Green Line, we've got some bad news for you...

Unless you’re travelling from Balally to Brides Glen.

IF YOU’RE ABOUT to rush out of work to catch a Luas home to Dublin’s southside, just wait a second.

Damage to overhead lines at Milltown means some services are suspended on the Green Line.

Trams are not operating between St Stephen’s Green and Balally.

Services between Balally and Brides Glen, and the Red Line, are operating as normal.

A maintenance crew is on the way. In the meantime, tickets are being accepted on Dublin Bus.

Be warned, it might be a tight fit…
