Man and woman charged with the murder of Barry Furfey in Co Antrim

They are expected to appear before court later today.

A MAN AND a woman have been charged with the murder of 42-year-old Barry Furfey in Co Antrim.

At around 1am on Monday, 15 September, the PSNI received a call for assistance from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service at a property in the Wardsborough Road area of Lisburn.

A man later named as Barry Furfey was located at the property with serious injuries.

Medical treatment was provided at the scene and he was taken to hospital, but he later died from his injuries.

A 38-year-old woman and 37-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of murder and have been charged to court.

They are expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court later today.
