'Who's in hot water now?': Gardaí recover €10,000 worth of boilers and arrest man

10 boilers were stolen from newly built properties in Ashbourne on 12 December.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man after recovering €10,000 worth of boilers.

10 boilers were stolen from newly built properties at The Elms, Archerstown Demesne, Ashbourne, Meath last Tuesday, 12 December.

Each boiler valued in the region of €1000.

Following an extensive operation, gardaí arrested a man in his 30s today. The boilers were recovered from a car.

He was taken to Ashbourne Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The man has been released without charge.

Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
