Man (24) assaulted twice in Dublin's north inner city

The attacks took place on Dorset Street Lower and North Circular Road on Thursday morning.

A MAN WAS hospitalised last night after he was attacked twice in Dublin’s north inner city.

The man, aged 24, was first assaulted on Dorset Street Lower after he was approached by two men, with what has been described as ‘eastern European’ accents.

The man was then assaulted again on North Circular Road, close to Summerhill.

The attacks took place between the hours of 1am and 4am on Thursday morning.

His injuries are not described as life threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 6668600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any Garda Station.
