Man held over fatal Dublin hit-and-run

A man is being questioned by Gardaí over a fatal hit-and-run incident in Cabra, Dublin, in which a 14-year-old boy died last December.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in Dublin last December, in which a 14-year-old boy died.

The 30-year-old man was arrested at Cloverhill prison at about 7pm this evening, according to RTÉ. The man was taken from the prison to be questioned at Mountjoy Garda Station, where he can be held for up to 12 hours.

Conor Hickey, 14, was struck by a car at the junction of St Eithne Road and Fassaugh Road in Cabra on 2 December. He passed away on the following night at Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
