Man in his 30s hospitalised with serious injuries after apartment block fire in Dublin

A MAN IN his 30s has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a fire at an apartment block in Dublin yesterday.
The fire happened at an apartment block on Temple Court in Santry, Dublin 9, yesterday evening.
Dublin Fire Brigade said in a post on social media yesterday that seven fire engines, including a turntable ladder and emergency tender, had attended to “a high rise fire in an apartment block”.
A garda spokesperson said the building was evacuated and the fire was subsequently extinguished by fire services.
A man in his 30s was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported and the scene remains preserved for forensic examination.
The garda spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
