Man seriously injured in Co Monaghan collision

Three men were in a van when it crashed last night.

THREE MEN WERE injured, one seriously, in a single vehicle collision in Co Monaghan last night.

The crash occurred at 10.40pm last night.

Gardaí told TheJournal.ie that there were three males in a van involved in the crash.

They were all taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. One of the men was seriously injured and was transferred to Beaumount hospital.

The scene was preserved for investigation.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Carrickmacross garda station on 042 9690 190.
