Man shot in Meath pub

Two men opened fire inside a Bettystown bar last night.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a shooting in Co Meath last night in which one man was injured, RTÉ reports.

The man, in his 30s, was shot when two masked men opened fire in McDonagh’s pub in Bettystown shortly before 10pm. The man is believed to have been struck four times, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

He is receiving treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
