Former Glee star Mark Salling pleads guilty to child pornography charges

More than 50,000 images of child sexual abuse were found on the actor’s computer and USB drive.

FORMER GLEE ACTOR Mark Salling has pleaded guilty to possession of images of child sexual abuse.

Salling entered the plea in a downtown Los Angeles federal court yesterday and is scheduled to be sentenced on 7 March.

The actor reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in October in which he admitted he possessed images of prepubescent children. The agreement states that a search warrant found more than 50,000 images of images of child sexual abuse on Salling’s computer and USB drive.

Prosecutors and Salling have agreed to ask a judge to sentence the actor to between four to seven years in prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender, pay restitution and abide by residency restrictions.

The actor played Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the Fox musical comedy Glee from 2009-2015.

Comments are closed due to ongoing legal proceedings.
