STAFF AT A McDonald’s in the UK recently organised a surprise birthday party for the 93-year-old man who comes in every day.
According to The Sun, since 2013 Harry Scott has visited the local McDonald’s in Cumbria at least six days a week (except Sundays, when he visits his goddaughter).
His wife Martha died six years ago, and he says the staff and customers of McDonald’s keep him company:
The kids who come in here are mine as I don’t have any of my own. It’s company for me.
On his 93rd birthday, the staff organised a surprise birthday party for Scott, decorating the restaurant with banners and balloons. The Daily Mail reports that they gave him a meal on the house – then told him all his meals would be free from now on.
One employee said of Scott:
He’s a one-off. We get regular customers but he’s one that stands out.
Yep. Bawling.
