Concern for man missing from his Co Westmeath home since Monday

Another man, reported missing from his home in Cork, has been found safe and well.

GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED a missing persons alert for a Co Westmeath man missing from for the last five days.

51-year-old Michael Dillon was last seen at his home in Harristown, Kinnegad, on Monday morning.

He is described as being 6 feet tall, of large build, with grey tightly-cropped hair, a pale complexion and blue eyes.

He was wearing blue waterproof trousers and rigger books. No description has been given of what else he was wearing, and Gardaí say no photograph has been made available to them.

Anyone with information on either case is being asked to contact Gardaí at Trim on 046 948 1540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

A 40-year-old Cork man reported missing from his home earlier today has since been found safe and well, according to Gardaí.
