Gardaí appeal for help in tracing missing Wicklow and Dublin men

In separate cases which are not linked, two men have been reported missing from Dublin and Co Wicklow.

GARDAÍ ARE SEEKING the public’s help in tracing two men who have been reported missing in separate cases which are not linked.

Arklow

Gardaí in Arklow are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of James Sheehan (pictured above/right), who is 18 years of age and from Ballyduff Road, Arklow, Co Wicklow.

James was last seen leaving a night club in Arklow on Sunday morning 19 August 2012 at approximately 2.38am.

He is described as being 6’2” in height, of athletic build, and with short red hair that is tightly cut.

When last seen, James was wearing a light grey Henley brand hoodie which has neon orange lining. He was also wearing blue jeans and tan-coloured Kickers brand shoes.

Dublin

In a separate case, gardaí in Dublin are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 27-year-old Tomas Cronin, who has been missing since Wednesday 8 August 2012.

Tomas was last seen on Leopardstown Avenue, Co Dublin on 8 August. It is thought he may have travelled to the UK but gardaí said that this cannot be confirmed at this stage.

He is described as being 5’ 9” in height with green eyes, brown hair and of heavy set.

It is not known what Tomas was wearing on the 8 August.

Gardaí said that Tomas is on medication and it is important that that this medication is taken daily.
