Police in Co Down issue appeal over missing man Maurice Rubens

Rubens, who is from the Donaghcloney area of county Down was last seen at 6pm on Sunday 31 March in a takeaway restaurant.

POLICE IN NOTHERN Ireland have expressed concern for the welfare of missing man 68-year-old Maurice Rubens.

Rubens, who is from the Donaghcloney area of county Down was last seen at 6pm on Sunday 31 March in a takeaway restaurant in the Main Street area.

He is described as being of a short and stocky build, with a black and white beard and is believed to have been wearing a blue beanie hat with a red and white Arsenal logo, a black coat and a slim blue rucksack.

The PSNI said today that police and friends of the man are “becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare”.

They appealed for Rubens, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact Lurgan Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
